Lock Haven has some engaging activities approaching as April begins. Floral sales, skating, and some downtown shopping can help brighten each day. People watching might be an interesting activity to consider too.
The Lock Haven Fire Company located on 415 Bellefonte Avenue is hosting a flower sale from April 9-11. Mums of various colors will be sold; all proceeds will help the fire company.
Colton Mellot, Lock Haven Fire Company volunteer said, “This sale helps us pay bills and buy equipment so that we can go out and protect the public.”
Skate Haven is a local establishment which is open throughout the week to provide a casual escape for people of any age. Skate rentals and snacks are available. Bringing a church bulletin on Sunday’s is a free dollar off entry fee.
Searching for bargains in thrift stores can be an adventure in small towns too. Various items are sold including: shirts, shoes, pants, books, furniture, and jewelry. Customers are given variety and low prices within these stores, a bargain shopper’s fantasy. The Salvation Army and Goodwill thrift stores are two popular examples in Lock Haven.
People watching is a free activity for anyone in any town. Simply station yourself in an area and observe the behavior and habits of others. Wal-Mart and Sheetz may be good locations to test, due to their steady flow of customers.
Lock Haven has many opportunities both advertised and creatively developed. Feel free to enhance life by partaking in something exciting or different.

Here is a picture of Skate Haven, which would be a neat place to check out when you have a free evening. The rest are simply random photos of family and friends which I watched! It’s quite entertaining to be honest!
